Training and Quality Assurance are essential parts of this job.Job Description:_The main task of the position is to deliver quality product from Molding, in a timely manner._Collaborate with team members and management to Develop, document and implement standard molding processes and methodologies._Train and supervise production staff on new process and methodology._Performs mould setups, parameter setup, mould maintenance and process troubleshooting._Use scientific molding method to validate new molding processes and re-validate existing/legacy molds._Perform OQs & PQs, documenting process parameters and run parameters._Recommend and improve Molding processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency._Work with design, manufacturing, production, engineers and tooling during the entire development cycle. Emphasis on new mould qualification prior to transfer to production._Participate in Mould Design Reviews and recommend improvements to optimize molding, setup, and overall manufacturing._Troubleshoot molding and material issues. Work with internal and external resources to resolve molding and manufacturing issues and implement short/long term solutions._Provide input on new or alternate materials for cost reduction or molding improvements._Develop work instructions to support injection molding processes, equipment, and preventative maintenance for new product and changes to existing product._Plan for the raw materials for Molding consumption based on the production forecast._Perform any and all other duties assigned.
