Turned parts for spark plugs are fed in pairs on a rail to a multi-spindle
machining station. ln order to achieve separation, o double-acting cyl-
inders are triggered by one actuator in alternating push-pull rhythm. ln
the initial position. the upper cylinder (1A1) is retracted, the lower cylin-
der (1A2) in the foard position. Turned parts are resting against the
second cylinder (1A2).

A startlng slgnal causes cyllnder (1A1) to advance and cyllnoer (1A} to
retract. Two sparking plug blanks roll onto the 6nachining station. After
an adjPlstable time of t, = 1 second, cylinder (1A1) returns and cylinder
(1A2) advances at the same time. A further cycle can be started only
when time intewal t, = 2 seconds has elapsed.

The circuit is switched on by means of a push button valve. A detented
valve makes it possible to change over from signle to continuous cycle.
The separating station must not restart on its own after a power failure
