We are pleased to announce that Rick Suneson will join Ecolab on November 1, 2016 as director Talent and Organization Development,Asia Pacific. Rick will report to Murray Smith, vice president Human Resources, Asia Pacific and functionally to Anne Gotte, global vice president Talent and Organization Development. In his role, Rick will provide strategies, frameworks, tools and approaches for building capability in our region. Talent management, succession planning, performance management, employee surveys, enterprise leadership, learning strategies, culture and inclusion are all important features of the work in this role. Rick will coach others so that sufficient in–market expertise is developed to drive local talent and development agendas.Most recently, Rick was a member of the Talent and Organizational Design group at Philips Lighting and prior to that he had strong experience with Heidrick and Struggles in their Leadership Consulting business. His earlier career was as an officer in the Australian Army in various Engineering teams. He has led talent management, leadership development, executive coaching and numerous facilitation challenges for large cross-functional, multi-geography organizations. In addition to his work in Talent and Organization Development, Rick also brings pharmaceutical front line sales and entrepreneurial experience to the role. He has lived in Australia, Europe and now in Singapore for the past six years. Rick holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from the University of South Australia and a Master of Management from the University of New South Wales.Please join us in welcoming Rick to Ecolab and wishing him all the best in his new role.
