In the BOX.TV is looking to expand its operations to Southeast Asia in 2016 and recently we learned that Vietnam market has very big potential for growth with pay TV services starting not so long ago.
According to our knowledge local pay TV operators (VCTV,K+, HTV,SCTV) are looking to increase the numbers of channels that they are offering and we believe our content can be suitable for Vietnam audience with variety to choose from.

Let me introduce our primary businesswhich we are doing here in Europe and would like to expand to your region in cooperation with National VTV and its affiliated pay TV companies.

IntheBOX.TV project preparation phase started in June 2012 with an idea to bring fresh and unique content tailored programmed for the emerging middle and upper class in EU, content of high quality and competitive pricing. In the next few months we realized that our project is actually one of the biggest TV projects in last 10 years in Europe.
Our channels are already (or will be in next months) on air in all important channel operators/EU countries. In addition, we are in advanced stage of negotiations with incumbent operators in United Arab Emirates, Africa, Brazil, Egypt, India.

1. Background

Our portfolio of channels carries content relevant to broad range of target groups: from women, to men, younger, mid-age, children, and more. They bring high quality content into the pay TV offer and their programming schedule is set to accommodate modern people lifestyle; in a manner of FTA TV stations where morning content is targeting audiences likely to be in front of the TV sets during the day while prime time is reserved for content attracting broader audiences. Each channel is divided into thematic components where each day of week and day part is dedicated to selected theme while weekends are reserved for carefully selected most attractive content. People love watching TV and love building habits; steady schedule and straightforward communication creates a strong habit and builds a viewer loyal to the brand. In addition, channels are delivered with time-shift rights and multi-screen (OTT) rights included to allow viewers to be independent of the schedule, and catch up their favorite content whenever and wherever convenient for them.

InThe BOX.TV portfolio consists of 12 channels at the moment …….(link for general presentation). In the CEE region we are focusing for example on 8 of our channels in first phase: Woman, Dr.Fit, Planet Earth, Home & Design, Hollywood Classics, Only Music, BOX and M.A.N. Some of our channels like Dr.Fit, and MAN are targeting unique and new content niches with growing potential audiences while channels like Woman and Planet Earth can be used as a substitute for multiple channels in existing and heavily fragmented niches such as female and doc.

Woman

Woman is a lifestyle channel intended for women, with content from renowned production houses tailor packaged to fulfil needs of modern women. Dr.FIT brings unique and exclusive content with no direct competition. Planet Earth

Planet Earth is a docu channel combining the best performing content genres aired on renowned channels such as Discovery, Nat Geo, History, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, etc. in an original and unique way, allowing viewers to follow favorite content on just one, instead of 10 different channels. Planet Earth comes with 2.000 hours of programme and 60% of fresh content each year.

M.A.N.

M.A.N. is a first and the only one lifestyle channel made for active and modern men. Channel content is focused on typical modern men's interests and architecture of channel is made of Adventures, Fashion, Lifestyle, Motors, Cars, Yachts, Sport, Travel, Fitness&Bodybuilding, Toys for Boys, Cooking&Other Man's Jobs, Do It Yourself and others thematic slots . More detailed information on M.A.N. channel can be found in the presentation. M.A.N. channel is expected in distribution in Q2 2016 with official huge launch on April's Cannes MIPTV. Supported with many exclusive brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini,…(cars), Harley Davidson (bikes), Man’s fashion cat's walk, big multiple screens, Redbull partner, Playboy and many others.



3. Tailor made programming

InTheBOX.TV has a flexible business model and is focused on building long-term partnership with our partners. Having said that, we are ready to tailor our existing programming on Woman, Planet Earth, Dr.Fit, M.A.N and … channels to satisfy the needs of specific target audiences and existing viewing habits. Together with the pay TV operator programming team of InTheBOX.TV will set objectives to be achieved with content adaptations, project timeline, promotional activities and deployment. Implementation of such project is expected to be 2-3months. We are able to establish (even with existing) with TV operator exclusive co-branding channels or OTT platform. For example we done this already with Deutsche Telekom and we merge their brand MAX tv with our channels ( MAX MAN, MAX WOMAN, MAX PLANET, MAX FIT,…).

4. Platforms, delivery

The channels can be distributed via the following distribution platforms: Cable, DTH, IPTV and OTT.
The channels are delivered via optical fibre or satellite (box playout-operator point) in mpeg4 format.


5. Rights included

• Linear rights for HD and SD version for each channel (no extra charge for HD
channel)
• Catch-up rights 72 hours
• OTT multiscreen rights
• VOD content - up to … hours per channel per year (upon agreement)
