In parallel to below, our national team have checked the Vietnamese version of the proposed Amendment Nº 1 to KfW-EVNHCMC-M2BP-W01 and agree with the proposed modifications to the bid docs and support HCMC PC's request to issue Amendment Nº 1.

To further clarify, the changes in the commercial conditions are because of incorrect translation from English to the Vietnamese version issued to bidders. As Ms Quynh Anh states:

Section 1, ITB 14.2 : I checked the Vietnamese Revised Column (Column 4) and confirmed that it is exactly as same as the English Version of approved Package KfW-EVNHCM-M2BP-W01 . The Vietnamese translation in Issued Bidding Documents (Column 3) was not correct.

Section 3, Item 2.1.2: I checked the Vietnamese Revised Column (Column 4) and confirmed that it is exactly as same as the English Version of approved Package KfW-EVNHCM-M2BP-W01 The Vietnamese translation in Issued Bidding Documents (Column 3) was not correct .

Section 9: GCC 36.3: I checked the Vietnamese Revised Column (Column 4) and confirmed that it is exactly as same as the English Version of approved Package KfW-EVNHCM-M2BP-W01. The Vietnamese translation in Issued Bidding Documents (Column 3) was not correct .

The technical changes relate to correction of technical parameters - refer last column (in English) of the attached spreadsheet.

We look forward to your further advice and no objection for HCMC PC to proceed with issuing Amendment Nº 1.
