9. THE METHOD OF REPLACING RUBBER PAD
9.1 Turn on the power. Push the loading handle to the very end. When glycerin goes
down to its lowest position, turn off the power.
9.2 Turn tightly the wheel of specimen holder to make the upper and lower die touch
closely.
9.3 Use wrench to release the fix ring for rubber pad by turning it anti-clockwise. Then
discharge the upper & lower compression dies. Release the fix ring to take the rubber
pad out.
9.4 Fill glycerin into the cylinder hole (under the space of rubber pad) and place new
rubber pad at the proper position. Push slightly the rubber pad to let air go out.
9.5 Place lower die and fix ring and fasten it.
9.6 Put the upper die and then turn the wheel to let upper and lower die compress closely.
Use wrench to fasten the fix ring.
9.7 Release the fix screw of oil tank. Put an iron board between upper and lower die.
Turn on the power. Load and release the loading handle for several times (remember
to choose proper oil channel). This is to release air flowing out. Then fasten the fix
screw of oil tank.
