Hi dear friends :)

Recently, i read a book called Hunger Games. i have already watched the movie but reading the book is anther fun.it's just make you goes in your own world imagining every detail of the story, creating your own theme , atmosphere, enviroment, characters,....etc and i think that is the biggest fun you can ever have as you've reached the outmost limits of what your brain can imagin, so doing alot of things that couldn't be done in the real world and also your brain tries to satisfy your need of enjoyment so reading will still ever the most fun, enjoyable mean and of course the usefull one you can use to spend your time in. it's not only enjoyable as i mentioned but also usefull as it can help You improve your mental Stimulation, solve Your Problems, an endless supply of information, enhances smarts, reduces stress, greater tranquility, helps prioritize goals, improves analytical thinking, improves memory, improves focus and concentration and alot of other benefits, in brief, it's the feed and the nutrition of our minds. it has alot of benefits but since almost all of us here, on funnky english, want to improve our english i'll talk about it's benefit in that field:

Vocabulary Expansion

reading increases your vocabulary and improves your spelling. Every day. You’ll be surprised at the words you start incorporating into your writing.A beefier vocabulary isn’t just for writers though. Knowing what other people are saying and using the perfect words to convey your feelings is a critical part of being a better human.

the more you read, the more words you gain exposure to, and they’ll make their way into your everyday vocabulary. Being articulate and well-spoken is of great help in any profession, and knowing that you can speak to higher-ups with self-confidence can be a huge boost to your self-esteem. It could even help you in your career, as those who are well-read,so be well-spoken, and knowledgeable on a variety of topics tend to get promotions more quickly than those with smaller vocabularies and lack of awareness of literature, scientific progress, and global events.

Reading books is also vital for learning new languages, as non-native speakers gain exposure to words used in context, which will enhance their own speaking and writing fluency.

Improve your writing skills:

All successful writers will tell you that in order to write well, you need to read, as you will gain not only a lot of vacabulary you can use, but also know a lot of writing styles so your writing will be better.

Your vast array of new found knowledge will help you to become more involved in discussions, you will be more able to instigate much more variable and interesting levels of conversations.

Obtaining more information will give you a distinct advantage over the others because you will have gathered a much wider understanding of many subjects and topics of conversation. Limited knowledge can seriously hold you back and leave you feeling left out in some social situations.

Ultimately this will make you a very much more interesting and refreshing person to be around. Sadly the only topic of conversation these days seems to be all about celebrity gossip or what's going on in reality TV shows or people's lives. This narrow focus of attention takes our us away from all the wonderful information and events that are going on in the world and beyond.

People underestimate the power gained from reading which can be priceless, reading expands your knowledge and awareness. Reading will also stimulate your creative imagination.

In fact reading has such a powerful influence it can change your emotional state, sad stories can make you feel sad, stories of inspiration can motivate and inspire us while happy stories can improve our mood. Be careful when you read negative feedback because it can have a strong impact on us and our future.

Story books can engage you in a world which is miles apart from our own, here you can have a glimpse of what goes on in the lives of many fictional characters, where you can experience empathy, sympathy and compassion with these make believe characters, this shows the power of you imagination as you bring these people and their experiences to life.

Some of the great books have been written by some of the best and most creative minds, you can delve into what goes on in the inner world of the great thinkers, here you can expand and develop your own mind and knowledge.

that is not what i wanted to say, i know i ached your heads and also you know all that but i just wanna everyone of us share the summery or the plot overview of the book you recently read or any book you think good and want to share it with us that would be a very good mean to exchange information and know other things.

I will start

the book i just finished yesterday called Hunger Games as i mentioned before.

The protagonist of this story is katniss everdeen. the other characters are peeta, effie, gale,prime, madge, cato and others.

Plot Overview:

Katniss Everdeen wakes up on the day of the reaping, when the tributes are chosen who will take part in the Hunger Games. Her mother and little sister, Prim, sleep nearby. Her father died in a mine explosion years earlier. She goes hunting in the woods outside her district, District 12, with Gale, her best friend. That night, at the reaping ceremony, the mayor gives a speech describing how the governments of North America collapsed and the country of Panem rose up in their place. A war ensued between the Capitol and the districts. The Capitol won, and as a reminder of their defeat, the Capitol holds the Hunger Games every year.

The district’s female tribute is chosen, and to Katniss’s horror, it’s Prim. Katniss volunteers immediately in Prim’s place. Then the male tribute is selected. It’s Peeta Mellark, and Katniss remembers how years earlier, while searching for food for her family in the garbage bins behind the town shops, Peeta gave her bread from his family’s bakery. Katniss credits him with saving her that day. The next day, Katniss and Peeta attend group training, and the tributes from rich districts who have trained for the Games their whole lives, called Career Tributes, show off their skills. Later, the tributes are interviewed by Caesar Flickerman, a television host. In his interview, Peeta reveals that he’s had a crush on Katniss for several years.

Finally the time comes. From a small underground room, Katniss is lifted into the arena and the Games officially begin. All the tributes are there, and in front of her is the Cornucopia, which houses an abundance of supplies. Rather than fight, she runs away as Haymitch, their mentor in the Games and the person responsible for getting them gifts from sponsors,advised. She hikes all day before making camp. After dark, someone starts a fire nearby, and it isn’t long before a pack of Career Tributes arrives and kills the person. To Katniss’s shock, Peeta is with them. The next day Katniss goes in search of water. She walks for hours and collapses from exhaustion, but ultimately she finds a stream. She’s woken in the night by a wall of fire moving in her direction, and as she runs away one of the numerous fireballs falling around her grazes her leg, injuring it.

after that an announcement is made that there has been a rule change: Now, two tributes from the same district can be declared winners. Katniss goes looking for Peeta, and it takes her a day but finally she finds him. He’s severely injured from his fight with Cato and can barely walk, but Katniss helps him to a cave where they’ll be hidden.A moment later she hears a noise outside and finds a pot of broth sent from Haymitch. She realizes that Haymitch will reward her for playing up the romance between her and Peeta as she kissed him before that. The next morning Katniss sees that Peeta’s leg is badly infected and he’ll die without treatment. Another announcement is made, this time saying each tribute will find an item they desperately need at the Cornucopia. Katniss knows that means medicine for Peeta’s leg, but Peeta thinks it’s too dangerous and doesn’t want Katniss to go. Using a sleep syrup sent from Haymitch, Katniss knocks him out. soon she grapped the cure and injects Peeta with the medicine just before passing out. They stay there for a few days while it rains nonstop outside, and in this time the romance between Katniss and Peeta progresses.

When the rain lets up, Peeta and Katniss need to find food. Katniss leaves Peeta in charge of foraging while she goes to hunt. She comes back hours later and finds a small pile of poisonous berries Peeta collected thinking they were safe. They discover the body of a tribute who Katniss nicknamed Foxface, and Katniss realizes she died from eating the berries. By this point Cato, who killed Thresh, other characters playing also, is the only tribute left, and Katniss decides to keep some berries in case they can trick Cato the same way. Eventually the streams and ponds dry up, and they know the only source of water left is the lake near the Cornucopia. Without any other choice, they start walking to the lake.

By the lake, Cato comes suddenly barreling toward them. Unexpectedly, however, he runs straight by them. Katniss realizes there
