+Bixsu. Mc. Jiake Z7 is basically a cdma phone. Your phone might not be properly unlocked. Please go to settings I wirless and networks I Current network info. What's written there? Could you pls send me the screenshot of that settings (Upload the screenshot on your google plus and send me the link).

+Iviewgle My new phone ( Jiake Z7) says " NO SIM CARD - EMERGENCY CALLS " and it is a new phone ( unlocked ) which I have bought. Does that mean mean I have to call up my network provider to unlock the phone ? , p.s I am using the same my sim card ( t-mobile ) for both my old and new phone. But it only works for my old phone ( samsung galaxy y).

For me Following steps worked Go to Settings --> Simcard and mobile network settings Select your sim name touch the Turn on to turn on the sim. no need to restart
