DIVISION: Maintenance Division

Purpose
Metallurgical Leader is responsible to any metallurgical issue in the refinery to meet the maintenance plan of Maintenance Division in accordance with established operating procedures and written and oral instruction from Deputy Section Manager of Reliability and Engineering Section.


Responsibility
For this position, minimum works are as follows,
During EPC phase
Leader should work for the following job together with other maintenance management team.
 CMMS Workflow development
 Develop Tier 3 and 4 procedures
 Survey daily maintenance company
 Maintenance Machine shop design and operation
 Warehouse work design
 Attend and train new employees
 Participate in Construction Work Quality and Safety Assurance
 Other requests from his bosses
After EPC
 Responsible to provide support services to the Maintenance Department and to supervise and mentor the less experienced engineers in the group.
 Responsible for resolving problems in corrosion control and materials performance (including welding, non-metal material etc.) affecting the refinery process and utilities units. Interface with refinery personnel and provide expert advice and front line technical support to maintenance and operation on all corrosion control activities throughout the refinery.
 Conduct material and welding selection for maintenance work.
 Develop and review the welding procedure for maintenance and construction.
 Support mechanical / inspection engineer to develop repair plan as a material specialist.
 Monitor corrosion within the refinery units and provide recommendations periodically to minimize/control the corrosion rate.
 Evaluate the effectiveness of the corrosion inhibitors in the refinery and assist the refinery in benchmarking the corrosion control practices with other practices used in the industry.
 Perform corrosion, material degradation and mechanical failure investigations and related studies.
 Review corrosion, material degradation and mechanical failure mitigation and monitor activities in the field to identify needed system modifications or procedural changes.
 Initiates and conducts special studies to minimize/control the corrosion and material degradation in the refinery units to improve the facilities operation.
 Select, coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors for additional support activities when required.

Specialty/Qualification
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or equivalent
Passionate dedication to maintaining safe operations enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies.
Strong decision making abilities under pressure and innovative to generate new ideas.
Basic knowledge in refinery processes.
Must have participated in field problems troubleshooting in oil and gas related industries.
Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, international standards, and economic principles related to incumbent's field.
Write reports and design packages to enable implementation of engineering recommendations.

Skills:
- Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum / petrochemical plant materials and equipment.
- Experience of maintenance mechanical control and planning.
- Report writing and presentation skills
- English skills IELTS 5.0
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

Mục đích
Leader luyện kim là chịu trách nhiệm cho bất kỳ vấn đề luyện kim trong các nhà máy lọc dầu để đáp ứng các kế hoạch bảo trì của Bộ phận bảo trì theo quy trình vận hành được thành lập và văn bản và bằng miệng hướng dẫn từ Phó Phần quản lý của Độ bền và Kỹ thuật phần.

Sau EPC
 Chịu trách nhiệm cung cấp các dịch vụ hỗ trợ cho Cục Bảo trì và giám sát và cố vấn cho các kỹ sư ít kinh nghiệm trong nhóm.
 Chịu trách nhiệm giải quyết các vấn đề trong kiểm soát ăn mòn và hiệu suất vật liệu (vật liệu bao gồm hàn, phi kim loại, vv) ảnh hưởng đến các đơn vị quá trình lọc dầu và các tiện ích. Giao diện với nhân viên nhà máy lọc dầu và cung cấp các chuyên gia tư vấn và hỗ trợ kỹ thuật đường phía trước để bảo trì và hoạt động trên tất cả các hoạt động kiểm soát ăn mòn trên toàn nhà máy lọc dầu.
 Tiến hành các tài liệu và lựa chọn hàn cho công việc bảo trì.
 Xây dựng và rà soát các thủ tục hàn để bảo trì và xây dựng.
Hỗ trợ  cơ khí kỹ sư kiểm tra / xây dựng kế hoạch sửa chữa như một chuyên gia vật liệu.
 Màn ăn mòn trong các đơn vị nhà máy lọc dầu và cung cấp các khuyến nghị định kỳ để giảm thiểu / kiểm soát tốc độ ăn mòn.
 Đánh giá hiệu quả của các chất ức chế ăn mòn trong các nhà máy lọc dầu và hỗ trợ các nhà máy lọc dầu ở điểm chuẩn các thực hành kiểm soát ăn mòn với các thực hành khác được sử dụng trong ngành công nghiệp.
